How to get Fortinet NSE 1 and NSE 2 Certifications for Free!

Hi,

As today I earned my NSE1 and NSE 2 certifications, thing came to my mind that there might be someone in community who also want to earn these certifications but they have no information about it or might be they misinformed regarding these certifications. Fortinet is providing free cybersecurity awareness trainings which upon successful completion rewards with NSE 1 and NSE 2 certifications.

Now let’s get started, in order to start the certification course first you have to Fortinet Training web page shown in figure 1.1.

When above page successfully loaded on your screen click on login button on the top right corner of the web page as shown in figure 1.2 below:

After clicking login you we see a page where it will be asking for authentication method as shown below in figure 1.3:

If you are new to website like me then click on choose Public authentication method. click on “Public” shown in figure 1.4 below:

Then Sign In screen will appear there if you are registered already then enter credentials otherwise click on the “Sign Up” button located at bottom of center as shown in figure 1.5 below:

New screen will appear there enter your information and click on submit button shown in figure 1.7 below:

After Sign Up confirm your email from email you are using and then login to the Fortinet training site, Dashboard will appear as shown in figure 1.8 below:

On dashboard, there will be 2 courses appearing infront of you as for me FortiGate Essentials is apprearing Name of those courses are:

The Threat Landscape

The Evolution of Cybersecurity

First Complete “The Thread Landscape” course and attempt all quizzes with minimum 80% marks as it is certification requirement. If you fail you can make another attempt to pass the quiz. Completing all requirements will get you “NSE 1 Network Security Associate”.

Similarly completing “The Evolution of Cybersecurity” course will get you certified “NSE 2 Network Security Engineer” and in order to download the certificate go to Completed tab on dashboard and download your certificate as shown in figure 1.9 below:
